Our talented Year 8 student, William H, recently took part in the Reigate and Redhill Music Festival, where he performed in a variety of classes and was awarded Outstanding for many of his performances. A special highlight was his rendition of Your Song by Elton John, which earned him the Junior Bach Cup. We’re proud to share that William will be performing again later this month — a fantastic achievement and a testament to his talent and dedication. Well done, William!

Following their impressive performance in the UKMT Intermediate Maths Challenge, Lenny F and Amelia S-O were invited to take part in the prestigious Grey Kangaroo follow-on round. Both students accepted the challenge and sat the one-hour paper at the end of March, tackling 25 demanding multiple-choice problem-solving questions. We were delighted to celebrate their achievements this week with a small gathering hosted by Mr Place, Mrs Dowdie, and Mrs Joao, complete with drinks and doughnuts. During the celebration, both students were presented with certificates to mark their accomplishments - Amelia for qualification, and Lenny F, who earned a Bronze Award and was recognised as ‘Best in School’. A huge congratulations to both students on this outstanding achievement - we are incredibly proud of their dedication and success!

We are once again collecting Easter Eggs here at de Stafford School in Caterham for the Royal Marsden Oak Centre for Children and Young People. 🐣 Last year, thanks to your generosity, we collected an incredible 387 Easter Eggs! These brought so many smiles to the children on the wards and those receiving treatment at the hospital. Let’s see if we can collect even more this year! If you would like to donate an Easter Egg, please drop it off at the school between 8am and 3pm, from now until Wednesday, 2nd April. This will ensure we can deliver them in time for Easter! 🐰 Thank you all in advance for your kindness and support - it truly makes a difference. 💛 #caterhamcommunity #EasterEggAppeal #royalmarsdenoakcentre
