GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

UK Mathematics Trust Junior Challenge

We had the great privilege of celebrating the achievements of some of our wonderful mathematicians. From Year 7 and Year 8, 57 students achieved either a Bronze, Silver or Gold certificate in the recent UK Mathematics Trust Junior Challenge. Maggie M (Year 7) was awarded a Silver award and ‘Best in Year’, while Edward C, Elina L, James P and Callum W received Gold awards with Callum not only gaining ‘Best in School’ but also has been invited to participate within the Junior Kangaroo Competition which will take place later this month. We are incredibly proud of all the students that took part, very well done.
