Admission into Year 7 in September 2026

From 1 September 2025, online applications open for a secondary school place for September 2026.

Please note the closing date for secondary applications is 31 October 2025.  

You will receive the outcome from your local authority on the evening of 2 March 2026.

ON-TIME APPLICATIONS FOR SECONDARY SCHOOL PLACES FOR SEPTEMBER 2026 HAVE NOW CLOSED.

Applications needed to be submitted to Surrey County Council by 31st October 2025 for September 2026 entry; while the student is in Year 6 of their primary school. 

LATE APPLICATIONS

If you have missed the 31st October deadline, your application may be considered as a late application, if there is no genuine reason for the late application. Late applications are only considered for spaces once all the on-time applications have been processed, therefore late applications can only be considered if spaces remain after the on-time applications have been processed.

If you wish to apply for a school place during the school year, please refer to the SMA guidance and SMA application form attached below.  

Once we have received the completed form, we will notify you within 15 working school days about the outcome of your application and/or your child's place on the waiting list.

In year or immediate entry appeals

Appeals resulting from in year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
