GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Admissions 2025-26

For applications for a place in Year 7 in September 2025, please note offers were made on the 3 March and parents/carers have until Monday 17 March to accept or decline their offer.

If your child has been offered a place in Year 7 for September 2025, please refer to our transition page for further information and key dates.

Application process for In Year Admissions and application form

For information and applications during the school year, please click here

If you wish to apply for a school place during the school year, please refer to the SMA guidance and SMA application form attached below.  

Once we have received the completed form, we will notify you within 15 working school days about the outcome of your application and/or your child's place on the waiting list.

In year or immediate entry appeals

Appeals resulting from in year admission applications will be heard within 30 school days of the appeal being lodged.
