💃 RAG Week – Day Two! 🎉 🎓 Year 8 took the spotlight today and kept the charity fun going strong! Students danced their hearts out with Just Dance, cooled off with some well‑earned ice pops 🍧, and brought the competitive spirit to the Sports Hall with team‑building activities and a classic game of Teachers vs Students dodgeball 🏀 — plenty of laughs, teamwork, and school spirit all round! 😄 A fantastic day full of energy, smiles, and generosity – well done everyone for getting involved and supporting such a great cause! 💛 #RAGWeek #DayTwo #Year8 #CharityWeek #StudentVsTeachers #SchoolSpirit

🧁❤️ RAG Week is off to a sweet and meaningful start! ❤️🧁 Our Year 7 cohort are kicking things off with a fantastic cake sale in support of the British Heart Foundation, following a heart‑themed assembly this morning. They learned all about the importance of looking after their hearts and keeping them healthy, as well as the love and kindness we show one another every day! The cakes perfectly matched the heart theme, with some truly fantastic bakes created over the weekend – a huge well done to everyone involved! 👏🍰 We can’t wait for the sale later today so we can enjoy (and appreciate!) all of their hard work while raising money for a brilliant cause. #RAGWeek #Year7 #BritishHeartFoundation #HeartHealth #LoveAndKindness #CakeSale 🍰💖

Katie grew up rarely seeing herself in the books she studied. At university, she finally found the diverse voices she’d been missing, and now, as a secondary English teacher, she’s making sure her students do too. Inspired? Join one of our online Get Into Teaching events to meet the team, explore routes into teaching, and discover what training with GLF is like. #GLF #teachertraining #graduates

The Geography Department recently had the privilege of accompanying 50 Year 10 and Year 11 students on an enriching educational visit to Iceland. During the trip, students explored a range of remarkable locations, including the Bridge Between Two Continents, Þingvellir (Thingvellir) National Park, the Secret Lagoon, and the Lava Show. 🌋❄ Our students demonstrated outstanding enthusiasm, maturity, and resilience throughout the visit—particularly when facing sub-zero temperatures and snowy conditions! Their positive attitude and engagement made the experience truly memorable. We would like to extend our sincere thanks to all students for their participation and exemplary conduct, as well as to the staff who generously volunteered their time and support to make this trip possible.🙏
