National Portrait Gallery Trip
On Friday 20th October, Mrs Small, Mr Meaney, Mrs Garratt and Miss Langford accompanied the Year 11 Art students to the National Portrait Gallery. They studied a wide range of historical and contemporary portraiture in the gallery. The students also got the opportunity to participate in photography workshop run by the artist Marysa Dowling They explored the theme of identity and got to experience taking photos in a studio setting – with some excellent results that will boost their sketchbooks!
