GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Active Surrey - Sporting Event

This week we had the privilege of hosting the Sports Hall Athletics event here at de Stafford, in collaboration with Active Surrey. Our Year 10 Sports Leaders played a crucial role in ensuring the event ran smoothly, and their dedication did not go unnoticed. The visiting staff were highly impressed with their forward-thinking approach, professionalism, and willingness to help.

Our leaders took on key responsibilities, including scoring, running events, and tallying results, demonstrating excellent organisational skills and leadership qualities. This event was a fantastic opportunity to bring together local primary and secondary schools, with our Year 7 students proudly representing de Stafford.

The competition saw outstanding performances across the board, showcasing the incredible talent within our school. A huge well done to everyone involved for displaying resilience, sportsmanship, and teamwork throughout the event. It was truly inspiring to see such enthusiasm and commitment, and we are incredibly proud of all who participated and contributed to its success!
