GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a MAT of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Acclaimed Composer Jack Pepper Inspires de Stafford GCSE Music Students

On Tuesday 21st January 2025, we had the privilege of welcoming Jack Pepper, a former GLF student, to work with our GCSE Music students.

Jack, an accomplished composer and broadcaster, spent the day sharing invaluable tips on how to approach writing music. Students had the opportunity to analyse pieces composed by Jack before applying their own skills to craft their own melodies.

The experience was truly inspiring and enriching for everyone involved. A huge thank you to Jack for dedicating his time and expertise to nurture the creativity of our students!
