de Stafford Spreads Festive Cheer at Bracken Lodge Care Home
On Monday, 16th December, students and staff from de Stafford School brought the joy and warmth of the festive season to the residents of Bracken Lodge Care Home in Caterham. This heart-warming visit was filled with Christmas cheer as our students sang a selection of much-loved Christmas carols, filling the home with the magical sounds of the season.
To make the occasion even more special, the students brought along thoughtful gifts and beautifully crafted cards made by the talented 1st Whyteleafe Rainbows. These handmade tokens of kindness brought smiles to the faces of the residents and helped spread the spirit of giving and community.
In true festive fashion, the visit was also accompanied by the sharing of mince pies and other delicious treats, creating a delightful atmosphere of togetherness and celebration. Residents and staff alike enjoyed the chance to connect and embrace the joy of the holiday season.
We are incredibly proud of our students and staff for their generosity, kindness, and commitment to making a positive difference in the local community. It’s events like these that truly highlight the power of compassion and the importance of bringing people together.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to the staff at Bracken Lodge Care Home for their warm welcome, and to the 1st Whyteleafe Rainbows for their wonderful contributions. Together, we made this festive season a little brighter for everyone involved.
Merry Christmas from all at de Stafford School!
