Another GOLD in the Healthy Schools Award!
de Stafford have done it again! GOLD in the Healthy Schools Award!
The Healthy Schools Rating Scheme, created by the Department for Education(DfE), aims to recognise and promote schools' efforts to support students' health and wellbeing. This scheme celebrates schools’ work in areas like healthy eating and physical activity while helping them identify ways to build on their current practices.
The scheme assesses schools on key areas such as food education (including curriculum and teacher training), adherence to school food standards, the weekly amount of PE time, and participation in active travel schemes. Achieving a Gold award signifies strong performance in all these areas.
Congratulations to de Stafford School for its hard work and dedication to student health and wellbeing. A huge well done for this achievement!
