The surrounding roads are clear but please exercise extreme caution when walking on the pavements and entering the school site. Students are permitted to wear footwear appropriate for the icy conditions. The car park is particularly icy so try to avoid driving in to school.

We are open today but to give the site team additional time to grit the worst affected areas we will be operating a late start. Students will be expected in to SAM at 9:30am. Any student arriving early may go to the school canteen.

I have lived in Caterham for 10 years and very much enjoy being part of the community. My background is in teaching, originally as a Business Studies teacher then latterly as a Special Educational Needs Co-ordinator and Senior Leader in two secondary schools. Throughout my career I have engaged in leadership development and now have the privilege of designing and delivering leadership courses to SENCOs, middle and senior leaders. My role as an Education Consultant (SEN, Inclusion and Leadership) has also seen me work with schools in Surrey and across the country to help target and support vulnerable learners with an overall aim to improve their life chances. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family and running (though not at the same time!).
